Art Blakey & the Jazz messengers illustration

As a creative exercise and to practice Procreate tools, I created an illustration of Art Blakey, inspired by his record “Mosaic”. The concept and colors are based on the track “Children of the night”. The style is the very “comic book” art, and the brushes I applied are basic and simple. The rest of the pieces are some print applications.
